Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator with an interest in science to play a key role supporting the science faculty at one of the leading schools in the UK.

The main purpose of this role is to provide administrative support and general support to all three separate science departments.

You will be an integral member of the team, working under the supervision of the other members of the technical team and with teachers.

Your responsibilities will include the administration of school trips for the department, placing orders for equipment, processing invoices and ordering books.

You will also provide support to the science technicians, and assist with the maintenance of laboratory equipment.

You will need some experience of working in a science-based environment, with demonstrable knowledge of safe working practices in a laboratory, in addition to good organisational and administrative skills.

The working hours are 30 hours per week, 34 weeks per year. Hours are negotiable.
