Description: Key Accountabilities
Transactional Support
  • Generation of sales invoices and credit notes
  • Processing of supplier invoices
  • Support debt management
  • Support in AP Management
  • Preparation of billing schedules
  • Preparation of detailed monthly files and reconciliation
  • Support in sector specific Mess Accounts activities; e.g. bank reconciliations.
Reporting & Analysis
  • Preparation of key business reporting month end reports, client reports, business review reports and budgets
  • Preparation of Flash report
  • Support General Managers with financial analysis
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process
Management Accounting
  • Supporting Finance Managers post month end journals, ensuring all sales and costs are correctly recorded.
  • Support with pricing of Contract Variations
  • Adhoc management accounting support where requested
  • Simple variance analysis, understanding the drivers impacting performance
  • Collation of information for monthly balance sheet review
Qualities / Experience
  • Looking to progress a career in Finance with relevant qualifications e.g. CIMA/ACCA
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have an inquisitive and intriguing outlook with confidence to approach the business
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and system skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
