About the Role:

Are you ready to kickstart your career in finance? The Finance Department at the EFI is on the lookout for a Junior Finance and Admin Assistant to join our dynamic team! In this diverse role, you'll be at the heart of our operations, managing bookkeeping tasks and providing essential administrative support for both internal and external financial matters.

As a Junior Finance and Admin Assistant, you'll collaborate closely with the Accounts Assistant and Finance Director. Key responsibilities include managing accounts receivable, processing refunds, handling student payments, and maintaining accurate ledgers and reconciliations. Experience in finance or administrative support is a plus, but what we value most is your enthusiasm and willingness to learn!

If you're organised, adaptable, and have a keen eye for detail, this is the perfect opportunity for you to thrive in a small and dedicated team setting.

About You:

  • You will have experience of working in an accounting environment and good general administration.
  • You will have good numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • You will have the ability to process data in an efficient and timely manner whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
  • You will have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders (i.e., students & other debtors, banks etc.)
  • You will have the ability to use own initiative, prioritise workload and adhere to tight deadlines, particularly at month end.

Salary:

From £23,400 to £26,000 per annum, subject to qualifications and experience
