Department of Government Programme Administrator Salary from £35,758 to £40,741 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £43,604 pa inclusive of London allowance. The Department of Government is a large and vibrant academic unit within the LSE and world-leading centre for study and research in politics and government. The post-holder will join the Professional Services team responsible for delivering all taught (Undergraduate and MSc) programmes within the Department. You will be responsible for supporting the administration of the Department's teaching programmes and responding to queries from staff and students. Key tasks include:
Candidates should have demonstrable experience of working in an academic or similar environment in an administrative capacity; be able to demonstrate a commitment to providing a consistently high-quality service to key stakeholders; have experience of participating in and making a positive contribution to a team; and of solving everyday problems and thinking creatively, including recognising when a problem should be referred to others.
