Description: | This is a great opportunity for you to be the first point of contact for visitors to our prestigious Film School. You will represent the School professionally when dealing with all general enquiries, whether face-to-face in the busy reception, via phone or email and will operate the School's multiline switchboard. You will also provide administrative support to the Facilities Management and Student Registry departments, act as a secondary building key-holder to the Facilities Manager and also a Fire Marshal, in the event of a building evacuation being necessary. The successful candidate for this interesting and varied role will be educated to A level standard or equivalent and have experience working on reception in a customer facing post. You will be comfortable working with academic and professional services staff, senior managers, students and external stakeholders. The ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment, plus experience using Microsoft 365 and excellent MS Office skills are essential. It will be an advantage if you have experience of working in a similar role within the arts and/or higher education. As a confident communicator, you will act with tact and diplomacy at all times.
