Systems Support Specialist - HRIS and Finance Systems

Full Time - Milton Keynes (Hybrid Working)

Salary: Range £35k - £45k per annum, plus benefits



The role


Are you a tech-savvy professional with a knack for HRIS and finance systems?


We're looking for an adaptable, confident, and proactive individual to join our team as an HRIS and Finance Systems Specialist. You'll manage and maintain the day-to-day operations of our HR and financial systems, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.


Who Are We?


Christie Group is an AIM-listed PLC that works in a 360 model from Acquisition through to the Disposal of a Business, offering tailored support along the way to meet our clients needs.


You will be working as part of the Christie Group Central Services team, which provides group-wide services to the various businesses that make up Christie Group. This role is essential in helping us focus on leveraging systems to create a more streamlined way of working. You will support a review of how we can integrate these systems and develop a core roadmap for HR and Finance systems for the future.


In this position, you will liaise with service providers and the internal finance and HR teams to ensure that our systems are functioning effectively and efficiently. It will be important for you to organise and proactively manage your workload to meet key deadlines and address business needs.



What You'll Do:


  • Keep our systems up and running smoothly
  • Manage security and ensure everything's up-to-date
  • Handle organisational structure management
  • Resolve any support issues that come up
  • Develop system integrations
  • Work with vendors to plan updates and upgrades
  • Collaborate with project and change management teams on new tools and processes
  • Plan, develop, and deliver end-user training
  • Always look for ways to improve the system experience
  • Reporting, creating complex reports, developing automated reporting where appropriate

Your Skills and Experience:


  • Good communication skills are essential

  • Time management skills and ability to prioritise
  • Exceptional administration skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills.
  • Understanding of GDPR and Data Protection rules
  • Previous experience of managing Finance systems
  • Previous experience of managing HRIS systems
  • Previous experience of integrating systems
  • Experienced in HRIS and Financial systems implementation is desirable but not essential
