Adroit People Limited (UK) Database Administrator

Role:

We are looking for someone with more MSSQL server experience with hands on experience in AWS, Terraform and Azure

• As a part of cloud team the database administrator primary focus is the delivery of cloud related database services and products to internal customers

• They are responsible for end to end database support for cloud services through monitoring , incident response and incident resolution for the public and private cloud platform environment.

• They monitor the database to ensure availability , reliability and security and performance , responding to incidents and escalating them to appropriate teams as required to ensure SLA's are met.

• They follow incident , change , release and problem management processes

• Participating and driving root cause analysis on incidents to ensure issues

• They are experts in observability, responsible for centralised platform monitoring and alerting tooling , setting the direction

• They seek to use automation to remove repetitive tasks , developing run books and playbooks for use across organisation .

• • They are experts in cloud operations in cloud environments ,using that expertise to support development teams in taking on more database operations responsibilities and driving devops practices to enable to company to efficiently scale cloud workloads.
