The role gives the opportunity to gain experiences and development within the technical & quality department within a prestigious food supplier and distributor.
Tasks: Understanding and decision making of product quality and food safety Support the administration of due diligence by taking responsibility for supplier records Supporting the supply base by engaging in ethical, sustainability and quality requirements and documenting actions and development. Internal reporting for both customers and suppliers dealing with all stakeholders Support on internal audits Attendance at customer facing meetings to support wider team Assist in leading supplier relationships, KPIs and development Help manage customers specifications and communication to all relevant parties where appropriate, including management of our customers databases as required Help lead as a product specialist and support new product development
Skills: Applicants must have good written and verbal communication skills, be computer literate with good knowledge of Excel. Applicants with a full, clean driving license preferred. Applicants will be supported in development and growth in the business with relevant training provided Food safety certificate or knowledge of HACCP would be advantageous
