Description: | Join our well-established and reputable law firm with offices across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire as a Residential Legal Secretary. In this pivotal role, you will provide essential administrative support to our conveyancing department, ensuring seamless residential property transactions. Responsibilities: - Support conveyancing solicitors in all administrative tasks related to residential property transactions. - Manage correspondence, emails, and calls promptly, addressing client inquiries. - Draft legal documents like contracts, completion statements, and forms. - Organize and maintain precise client files and documentation. - Coordinate with clients, estate agents, solicitors, and other involved parties. - Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering positive client relationships. - Handle general office duties like photocopying, scanning, filing, and occasional reception coverage. Requirements: - Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or Conveyancing Secretary, preferably in residential conveyancing. - Proficiency in legal case management systems and Microsoft Office. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Excellent organizational and time management skills with acute attention to detail. - Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise effectively, and adapt proactively. - Knowledge of conveyancing procedures and terminology.
