About The Role

East Kent Colleges Group are seeking an Inclusive Learning Administrator to join our team in Canterbury College.

As an Inclusive Learning Administrator, you will need to provide effective administrative support service for the Inclusive Learning department. You will work collaboratively with the Head of Inclusive Learning to ensure administrative processes are informed by smart working practices so they can be the best they can be to meet the changing demands of a busy department. This will include supporting with annual reviews for students with an Educational Health Care Plan and liaising with the local Authority. Please note that this is part-time position of 18.5 hours per week with a pro-rata salary of £12,251.50 The hour schedule for this role can be discussed at interview as there is some flexibility within 9-5, Monday to Friday.

About You

Do you have a good knowledge of IT including Microsoft suite? Are you able to collate data quickly and accurately? In addition, you will:

• work effectively with completing priorities to tight deadlines
• work with financial documents and systems including ordering and invoicing
• show an attention to detail, whilst able to identify issues in documents, processes and procedures
• have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• have an ability to keep accurate records (filing) and take accurate notes/minutes of meetings
• have a good knowledge of assistive technology and its application to aid communication and learning and willingness to keep up to date with developments in this field
• be active in contributing to the College's Safeguarding and PREVENT practice, procedures, culture and ethos
• have a qualification of Administration of Medication Level 2 or willingness to undertake this in role With a strong ethos of development, EKC Group focuses on supporting you.
